Global Warming is the term used to describe the increase of the world's overall tempature, due to the rising amounts of greenhouse gasses and carbon dioxide. Scientist have determined that certain human activities cause global warming to progress quicker. Humans contribute to global warning when they burn fossil fuels in their cars, use electricity in their homes, and cut down trees, which convert carbon dioxide to oxygen. As a result of global warming, many animals become extinct, natural dissasters happen more often, and climate changes occur all around the world. It is important to know about Global warming because it is most likely going to have a major affect on people in the near future. This means that your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and so on and so forth will suffer because of the things humans are doing now.

The Pros and Cons of Offshore Drilling

Offshore drilling is the proccess of getting oil from under the ocean floor. It can be both beneficial and nonbeneficail for the economy. Offshore drilling can benefit the economy by providing oil for America so that we could wouldn't have to buy it from other countries. On the other hand it is expencieve to build rigs in the ocean and takes many years. Also if no oil is found, the money used to build the rigs will be wasted. As for the enviroment, offshore drilling doesn't benefit it at all. This is because people make mistakes and accidents can cause oil spills. As a result, wildlife dies and the ocean becomes poluted.

The Pros and Cons of Nuclear Weapons

Nuclear Weapons only have negative effects on both the Economy and the Environment. This is because a country spends millions of dollars on nuclear weapons but does not gain anything in return. Also, nuclear weapons lead to massive distruction to our planet which sometimes is eriversable. For example, when the Atomic Bomb was tested off the coast of mexico a black hole was created and sucked in a major part of the earths crust. Although nuclear weapons can give a single country more power than the rest there only purpose is to cause harm. In conclusion there are no positive asspects of nuclear weapons.
